Dean Trickey

My Story

I was born in Maryborough in Central Victoria then moved to Robinvale with my family in 19963 and went to school there, when I left school at the age of 16, I started a Motor mechanic apprenticeship at the local Auto shop after finishing that I started a carpentry apprenticeship with my Father Claude in 1980 and never looked back, I loved the building trade and what it had to offer.

I worked with my dad until he retired and the took over the family business

Doing my trade in the bush I learned how to do every thing in the building trade which was the most valuable life gift that my father could have given me in growing up in the trade

As the years have gone by and all that I have learnt in the trade, I still have lots to learn and every day brings something new to my life sometimes wonderful and sometimes not so wonderful in which I give the God of Heaven all the glory for both.

I have been a registered Builder in Victoria / Northern Territory and New South Wales.

Some great people have come into my life’s journey, too many to mention, but they have mentored me, challenge me and taught me some of life’s most priceless lesson on the way which makes me who I am today and I thank them all with love especially my beautiful Wife.

My Dad taught me at a very young age, Son, never say you can’t do it, because you can always find out how to do it, Great words from a great man so I have taken that with me through out my life and met all the challenges of the building trade head on something of which I am proud of, and the way my company and all that work with me has quietly gone about do their work and the achievements they have accomplished.
